28SEP26 – MADRID.- El archivo de José Antonio Sierra Lumbreras, fundador del Centro Español de Documentación e Intercambios Culturales de Dublín, documenta cómo arrancó en 1970 el germen del actual Instituto Cervantes de Dublín: una subvención excepcional de Exteriores, cartas de media docena de organismos y la mediación de Adolfo Suárez.

23SEP26 – MADRID.- La Cátedra Cervantes que el Instituto presentó el viernes pasado en la Queen's University no es la primera vez que España se plantea implantarse en Belfast. En el año 2000 hubo una propuesta formal, la firmó el fundador del Instituto Cultural Español de Dublín y fue rechazada dos veces. La documentación de aquel intento ha llegado a esta redacción.

07SEP26 – MÁLAGA.- Irlanda asumió la presidencia de turno de la Unión Europea a partir del 1 de julio, durante seis meses, hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2026, que será la octava vez, antes de ceder el relevo a Lituania. Con tal motivo deseamos informar de la contribución del Instituto Cultural Español/Cervantes de Dublin , así como la de los institutos alemán, francés, italiano y del Arts Council of Ireland, pioneros en y de la cooperación cultural europea.
