26MAR24 – MÁLAGA.- Los mejores maestros panaderos del sur de España se reunirán el 8 de mayo en las instalaciones de La Térmica en la primera de las cuatro fases del concurso, que continuará en Barcelona, Madrid y Santiago de Compostela. En octubre se celebrará en Madrid el acto de entrega de las distinciones a los 50 mejores panaderos de España y las Estrellas de Oro, Plata y Bronce a los tres más destacados. Las inscripciones están abiertas hasta el 4 de mayo

Este evento se celebrará del 2 al 9 de marzo en la plaza de la Merced en el marco del 27 Festival de Málaga.

14FEB24 – MADRID.- Bien asentado en un café literario de Buenos Aires, en compañía de Borges en carne y hueso imaginarios, el narrador de “Ajedrez”, el primero de los cuentos de El ojo mágico de Antonio Jurado (EDA Libros, 2023) le espeta al lector: “La lectura me parece la mejor manera de ver la vida sin intermediarios”. O sea, empecé a percatarme muy pronto de que los ojos de su autor son capaces de abarcar 360º grados, que observan como los de un águila real y que su ojo es mágico porque ve lo que no vemos los demás.

14FEB24 - MÁLAGA.- El Festival de Málaga volverá a desplegar la gran alfombra roja del cine en español en su 27 edición, que se celebra del 1 al 10 de marzo con una programación que acogerá casi 250 audiovisuales entre todas sus secciones (largometrajes de ficción, documentales, cortometrajes, series de TV, etc) y una gran variedad de contenidos y actividades paralelas para todos los públicos. Asimismo, el certamen malagueño se convertirá de nuevo en punto de encuentro del audiovisual en español en su consolidada área de Industria MAFIZ.

Fueron muchos los vecinos que proyectaron su influencia en las lejanas tierras americanas, y lo hicieron fecunda y generosamente.

25DIC23 – MOCLINEJO.- Obra del escultor Andrés Montesanto, está dedicado a todos los que salieron del pueblo en época de escasez A José Jimena Bernet, hijo y nieto de moclinejenses, que con 14 años de edad salió con su familia hacia Argentina en 1914. A los que emigraron y a quienes se instalaron en Moclinejo. Esta escultura, original de Andrés Montesanto, se inauguró el Día Internacional del Migrante, siendo alcalde del municipio Antonio Muñoz Anaya.

Después traducido al castellano puede disfrutar de “Os Cangaceiros” de María Isaura Pereira de Queiroz, ilustre historiadora brasileña. Pese a publicaciones posteriores (Peter Singelman, Linda Lewin, Billy Jaynes Chandler), como dice Hobsbawm “Os Cangaceiros”... tiene todo lo que hay que saber sobre el bandolerismo en el Brasil”.
