El Instituto Cervantes de Manchester ofrece dos nuevos talleres: escritura creativa y traducción. 

El segundo, comenzará el 26 de febrero y se extenderá hasta el 2 de abril bajo el nombre La Traducción es un Asunto Personal. Este taller, invita a los participantes a explorar sus propios recursos e intereses mediante la elaboración de ejercicios. Se usarán como ejemplos tanto textos españoles y latinoamericanos como ingleses, y así, poder ver el difícil pero a la vez gratificante proceso de traducción. A impartir los miércoles de 6 a 8 de la tarde.

Los dos talleres están organizados en sesiones de dos horas a lo largo de seis semanas. Es necesario poseer un nivel intermedio de inglés y español.

Cada uno de los talleres cuesta £75 con un 8% de descuento.

The Instituto Cervantes in Manchester offers different workshops: creative writing and translation.

Instituto Cervantes is pleased to offer two different and exciting workshops. The first one, will go from the 8th of February until the 15th of March and under the name of Creative Writing Workshops, the participants will be offered the chance to analyse the narrative processes of several works from different authors, and different styles of exercises will be performed. Participants will be able to express their views about the works and give ideas, inspiring the critical spirit and the analytical dialogue from the very beginning.

The second one, running from the 26th of February until the 2nd of April and under the name of Translation Means Getting Personal, the participants will be guided through a series of challenges and choices, so their individual interests are celebrated and explored. Spanish and Latin American (and English language) texts will be used as examples of the difficult but very rewarding process of translating.

Both workshops are organised in sessions of two hours during six weeks and intermediate level of Spanish / English will be required.

The creative writing one will be on Saturdays from 10.30 to 12.30 and the translation one on Wednesdays from 6 to 8pm. Both cost £75 and concessions are available.
