Synopsis: With a careful recreation of colonial Peru in the XVII Century, “The elusive good” (“El bien esquivo”) tells the sotry of the social, racial and spiritual marginality of the two tormented characters in a key moment of Peruvian history, when national identity is defining its parameters. The mixture of bloods and cultures, the struggle between conflicting religious beliefs, but also adventure, romance and intrigue combine in the story of two outcasts fighting against prejudice and intolerance.
