Concert at Guildhall School of Music and Drama

María Camahort (Guildhall Fellow - Guitar), together with Guildhall musicians, offers a chamber music recital of works from the Spanish composer Feliu Gasull.

Feliu Gasull enjoys a highly successful international career as a composer, primarily based around his development of a unique harmonic language mastering the complexities of contemporary music with the variety of Mediterranean traditional music.

This concert includes works for many different ensembles, ranging from his Cançons de Treball (songs for guitar and traditional voice, inspired by the Spanish popular tradition) to Contra-xions, for guitar and chamber orchestra, composed on 1996 for the Santa Fe Music Festival (EUA). The composer will be attending the concert.
