-The 8th annual Bloomsday Reading and Bathe on the Beach will be held on Saturday 16 June at the beach in Fuengirola. More details can be found via the link.
-The Sant Vicent GAA club and the Valencia Irish Cultural Association have joined forces this year to mark the occasion – the GAA have their annual open day in Polideportivo Quatre Carreres on Saturday 16 June and this will be followed by a special Bloomsday lunch menu, accompanied by readings from Joyce, poetry in English and Irish, and an introduction to the Irish language. This will be a family friendly event, and later that day there will be music and dancing in St. Patrick's Irish bar. For more details please consult here.
-The 5th annual Bloomsday celebrations in Zaragoza will take place on Friday 15 June at 19.30 in the central patio of the Paraninfo building at the Universidad de Zaragoza (Plaza Basilio Paraíso, 4). There will be readings and live music from the group Celtic Airs.

- Irish poet John Liddy will be launching his latest publication, Madrid & other poems, at Booksellers, Santa Engracia 115, on 8 June at 20.00. Puca Óg will add some music and song to the event. John will also be signing copies at the Feria del Libro de Madrid on the 9 June between 12.00 and 14.00, in Caseta 38 Booksellers. Please find invitation attached.
- The Yeats Society in Madrid will be celebrating Yeats Day 2018 on Wednesday 13 June in Café Moliere (Francisco Silvela 20) at 20.30. Everyone is invited along to this informal gathering where you can read your favourite poem by W. B. Yeats. Please find invitation attached.
