La charla, por Alexandra Ortiz Wallner, abordará los diferentes procesos culturales que se dieron en la región a partir de la firma de los Acuerdos de Paz, especialmente en El Salvador y Guatemala, para mostrar que estas diversas manifestaciones (que incluyen en gran medida a la literatura y a las artes) han sido fundamentales para los procesos de recomposición del tejido social después de la tragedia de la guerra y los conflictos armados.

En un segundo momento se profundizará en algunos de los nuevos escenarios y de las nuevas preguntas que la literatura más reciente de la región está proponiendo.

The talk, by Alexandra Ortiz Wallner, will be about the different cultural processes that were given in the region from the signing of the Peace Accords, especially in El Salvador and Guatemala, to show that these various manifestations (which include greatly literature and the arts) have been fundamental for the processes of recomposition of the society after the tragedy of war and armed conflict. In a second moment will deepen in some of the new scenarios and of new questions that the most recent literature of the region is proposing.

Festival de cortos "IÑDIA"

El mundo en continua evolución, la subrogación, la búsqueda del éxito, las drogas y la juventud, la sociedad patriarcal, o el amor, son algunos de los temas tratados con seriedad, ironía o en tono de comedia por los jóvenes realizadores del Instituto Cervantes y de la Universidad de Delhi, en el este primer Festival de Cortos “Iñdia”. El sábado 13 de abril a las 5:30pm se proyectarán los cortos siendo presentados previamente por cada uno de sus directores. Al finalizar la sesión tendrá lugar un coloquio con los realizadores, y se entregará el premio del público al mejor cortometraje. 

Short Film Festival "IÑDIA"

A world in a permanent evolution, subrogation, the pursuit of success, the drugs and the youth, patriarchal society, or love, are some of the topics dealt with seriously, with irony or in a comedy by young filmmakers from the Instituto Cervantes and Delhi University, in the first Festival of Shorts "Iñdia". On Saturday April 13th at 5:30 pm will screen the short films introduced by its directors. At the end of the session will be a discussion with the filmmakers, and it will be given the award for best short film voted by the audience.

Ciclo de cine Venezolano: "El Enemigo"

La película está basada en la obra “Un Corrío Muy Mentao”, del dramaturgo venezolano Javier Moreno. En los pasillos de un hospital de Caracas, dos personas de mundos muy diferentes coinciden en una angustiosa noche. Lo único que anhelan
ambos es que sus hijos se salven. Un secreto se oculta detrás de esa falsa coincidencia. Venezuelan film series: "The Enemy"

The film is based on the play "A very well known song", the Venezuelan playwright Javier Moreno. A harsh realistic relation takes on between a poor woman and a lawman in Venezuela’s capital, Caracas. In the corridors of a Caracas hospital, two very dissimilar beings meet by chance one night. Most of the story unfolds in the corridors of one of the city’s hospitals as one mother awaits news of her son’s surgery after he is brought in with multiple bullet wounds.
