With musicians playing a live, original score by Szymon Brzoska and Rubén Lebaniegos, Dunas draws the audience into the imagery of endlessly shifting sand dunes, represented by billowing fabrics on stage – an ethereal backdrop to Pagés’ fiercely passionate flamenco and Cherkaoui’s more fluid, free-styling modern dance.
