One of the episodes from the classic Cervantes novel, Don Quixote, was the inspiration for the Spanish composer Manuel de Falla to create “Master Peter’s Puppet Show”. Shadow puppets are attacked and a theatre is destroyed as the legendary Don Quixote lays waste to a helpless puppet show.
