Biografía: Jesús Morente aprendió a tocar la guitarra en el Conservatorio y peñas flamencas de Sevilla. Ha participado en importantes festivales en Holanda, Pakistán, Suecia, Dinamarca y Holanda, además de festivales de Jazz en Noruega, realizando giras con destacados artistas del flamenco como Pepa Martínez, Almudena Serrano, Andrés Peña, El Londro, Miguel Cañas, Felipe Mato, Jesús Corbacho, Marco Flores, Jesús Fernández, Joaquín Grilo, Asunción Demartos, Pedro Obregón y Jesús Flores. Compone habitualmente música tanto para baile, como para concierto solista, y participa en proyectos de fusión con artistas de jazz y músicas del mundo, como el qawwali pakistaní, grabando un disco con Sher Miandad y otro con el iraní Pouyan Abdoli. Su estilo es intimista y reflexivo. Utiliza modos recogidos de otras culturas musicales, basando su toque en los estilos rítmicos y especialmente en la sincopa. Al mismo tiempo se ciñe a las estructuras tradicionales y tiene presentes a sus grandes referentes, Diego del Gastor y Pedro Bacán.
Suchet Malhotra toca instrumentos de las culturas rítmicas de todo el mundo: la tabla India, el darbouka y la pandereta de Egipto, el def Kurdo, los djembes de Ghana y Gambia, el cajón peruano, los bongos de Cuba, ududrum del Congo y el aborigen yidaki/didgeridoo de Australia.
Con una diversa colección de instrumentos nativos y ambientales a mano, su repertorio cubre todos los continentes y continúa creciendo.

Synopsis: Flamenco is a musical genre from Andalucía, in the south of Spain, which includes cante (singing), baile (dancing) and toque (guitar playing). It is a World Heritage and each artist has their own style of playing guitar, always emotive and passionate.
Biography: JesusMorente studied guitar at the Sevilla's Conservatory. He has participated in important festivals in Spain, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Sweden, Denmark and Greekland, as well as jazz festivals in Norway, and has toured with important flamenco artists such as Pepa Martinez, Almudena Serrano, Andres Peña, The Londro, Miguel Cañas, Felipe Mato, Jesús Corbacho, Marco Flores, Jesus Fernandez, Joaquin Grilo, Assumption Demartos, Pedro Obregon and Jesus Flores. Jesus composes music for dance and concert soloist, but has also worked on crossover projects with jazz and world music artists as Pakistani Qawwali, recording an album with Sher Miandad and another with the Iranian Pouyan Abdoli. His style is intimate and reflective and uses modes and rhythmic styles collected from other musical cultures, especially in syncopation. At the same time adheres to traditional structures and is mindful of its major figures, Diego del Gastor and Pedro Bacán.
Suchet Malhotra plays instruments from the world’s rhythm cultures: the tabla from India, darbouka and framedrums from Egypt, the Kurdish def, djembes from Ghana and Gambia, the
Peruvian cajón, bongos from Cuba, the Congolese ududrum and the aboriginal yidaki/didgeridoo from Australia. With a diverse collection of native and ambient instruments at hand, his repertoire covers the inhabited continents and continues to grow.
