Taller: "Arte mexicano"  Workshop: "Mexican Art"

El seminario tomará el objeto artístico y su proceso de creación como eje de revisión histórica, además de reflejar su importancia en la memoria de un país. De ese modo, Miguélez ayudará a comprender la historia política y social de esta nación, sirviéndose de la producción artística como narrador de los episodios que marcaron su evolución.
Biografía: Armando Miguélez estudió un máster en Stanford University y su licenciatura en Bellas Artes en UDLA, Puebla (México). Ha desarrollado su carrera profesional entre México e India, donde ha expuesto y producido sus obras, además de haber dado conferencias en India, España, México y Estados Unidos

Where an eagle is eating a snake perched on a cactus is a three-session seminar conducted by Armando Miguélez, a visual artist with a strong grounding in academia. In the seminar Miguélez will divide five centuries of Mexican history into three distinct moments. This seminar is focused on the art object and the process of art as a historic marker. It will help us understand the political and social history of a nation based on its cultural production to anchor key moments in its evolution. 
Biography: Armando Miguélez holds a Master's from Stanford University, and a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from UDLA in Puebla, Mexico. He has developed his career between Mexico and India, exhibiting, producing and lecturing in India, Spain, Mexico and the United States.
