Over the last decade Chilean Cinema has achieved major worldwide recognition thanks to the work of a new generation of directors.
This cinema series looks at the directorial debuts from Andrés Wood, Matías Bize, Sebastián Lillo, Rumpy y Pablo Larraín, all of them directors who have helped to mark the beginning of a new Chilean cinematic tradition. The films shown represent the start of the careers of these well recognised directors.
