Ciclo de cine mexicano: 'Alamar'  Mexican Film Series: 'To the sea' 

Alamar cuenta la historia de Natan, un niño mexicano de 5 años y su padre Jorge, un joven de origen Maya, quienes emprenden un viaje hacia el arrecife de coral de Banco Chinchorro, antes de que el pequeño Natan Abandone la tierra paterna por largo tiempo. Sin embargo, la ruptura familiar del pasado, lejos de convertirse en algo traumático, abre una nueva perspectiva para padre e hijo, donde el vínculo entre ellos crece al ritmo de la majestuosa naturaleza.

Taller-degustación: "La nueva cocina vasca"
Esta cocina se basa en aligerar salsas, presentar los platos con armonía, cuidar al máximo los aromas y sabores de la materia prima y recuperar aquellas antiguas tradiciones como la Zurrucutuna o la Purrusalda, que, que por ser domésticas, habían perdido su interés en la restauración profesional. Esta es una cocina de los aromas, relanzando el protagonismo del ingrediente principal, potenciando los caldos de pescado, carne y verduras que reemplazaban a la crema de leche, y multiplicando el uso de las hierbas, muchas veces simples, pero ricas en olores y sabores. 
- Fechas: 5,6,19 y 20 de octubre.
- Horario: 11:00 a.m. a 14:00 p.m.
- El taller se impartirá en inglés y español.
- Matrícula: 3.500 Rs.
- Periodo de matrícula: Desde el 17 de septiembre

Workshop-tasting: "New Basque Cuisine"
This cuisine is based on making lighter the sauces, presenting the dishes in harmony, maximize the aromas and flavors of the raw material and recover those ancient traditions as Purrusalda or Zurrucutuna or those others which, being domestic had lost interest in the professional restoration. This is a cuisine of aromas, highlighting the main ingredients, promoting the consommé of fish, meat and vegetables that replaced the cream, and increasing the use of herbs, often simple, but rich in aromas and flavours. 
- Dates: 5th, 6th, 19th, 20th October.
- Time: 11:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.
- No previous knowledge of Spanish is needed. Lessons will be taught in English and Spanish
- Enrollment fee: 3.500 INR
- Enrollment: From 17th September onwards

Taller: "Tango"
El tango es un género musical tradicional de Argentina y Uruguay, nacido de la fusión cultural entre inmigrantes europeos (españoles e italianos, principalmente), descendientes de esclavos africanos, y nativos de la región del Río de la Plata. Musicalmente suele tener forma binaria (tema y estribillo) o ternaria (dos partes a las que se agrega un trío). Muchas de las letras de sus canciones están compuestas basándose en un argot local llamado lunfardo, letras que suelen expresar las tristezas, especialmente «en las cosas del amor», que sienten los hombres y las mujeres de pueblo, sin que ello sea obstáculo a la inclusión de oras, incluso humorísticas y políticas. Desde 2009 forma parte de la lista de Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad aprobado por UNESCO. (+)

Workshop: "Tango"
Tango is a traditional dance of Argentina and Uruguay, born of cultural fusion between European immigrants (Spanish and Italian, mainly), descendants of African slaves, and natives of the region of the Rio de la Plata. Musically is mainly binary (theme and chorus) or ternary (two parts to which is added a trio). Many of the lyrics of their songs are written on a local slang called lunfardo, and the lyrics often express sadness, especially regarding of the matter of love felt by men and women, without that hindering the treatment of other issues, even humorous and political. Since 2009, tango has been recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. (+)
